ACTPLA has refused the Request by Zapari for Re-Consideration of their Development Application for Block 3 Section 12 in Coombs. Council is pleased that ACTPLA has listened again to the Community. Continue reading
Here is yet another disappointment for those people living in Coombs. The ACT Government made a requirement that there be space for a Community Hall in the site sold for a Child Care Centre in Coombs. However, Council understands that no-one can use it as the area has been offerred for lease at a price which virtually puts all Community Groups out of the market. Continue reading
Council offers the following comments in relation to the Supportive Housing proposal in Chapman. In short, Council welcomes moves to increase the supply of supportive housing in Weston Creek, but suggests the ACT government assist the proponent to identify a more suitable location in the Weston Creek area.
