Council has lodged its Budget Submission for 2020/21

Council is asking the Government to step-up and do things for our Communities instead of just promising into the future!!

Action needs to be taken for both the Weston Creek and Molonglo communities for the communities to have some faith in the Government.

Promises of action are made but very few are carried out and those are not always fulfilled the way that the community expected. Our transport system at the moment is an exception. Continue reading

Another Disappointment in Coombs

Here is yet another disappointment for those people living in Coombs.  The ACT Government made a requirement that there be space for a Community Hall in the site sold for a Child Care Centre in Coombs.  However, Council understands that no-one can use it as the area has been offerred for lease at a price which virtually puts all Community Groups out of the market.
