Council has lodged a Submission stating that it does not support the proposed Car Park known as the “Watling Place” car park now proposed for 65 parking spaces.
We do not believe it is needed now as the 65 spaces can be found around the Cooleman Court complex with some changing of time limits on some sites.
Also, the use of the term “temporary is misleading when reading some internal e-mails and ir is meant to be permanent which then is not a use that Community Facility Zoned Land can be used for. And do we really need to spend over $600,000 here.
