The ACT Government has advised residents of Weston Creek that Cord Civil will be undertaking a new major traffic switch along Cotter Road and Streeton Drive from 21 May 2014. This will allow scheduled infrastructure works to be undertaken on behalf of the ACT Government as part of the Cotter Road/Streeton Drive intersection upgrade.
As part of this traffic switch, Dixon Drive will be re-opened and the intersection of Unwin Street and Dixon Drive will operate as a single traffic controlled intersection.
Traffic control devices will be in place to assist drivers navigating the new temporary alignments.
This traffic switch is expected to be in place for the next two months. The intersection works will continue until late August 2014.
