Public exhibition of Stage 2B draft EIS
Light Rail Stage 2B Commonwealth Park to Woden has reached a major milestone with the release of the project’s draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), which is now on public exhibition. The draft EIS is a vital project document which assesses the potential environmental, economic and social impacts of the construction and operation of Light Rail to Woden: Stage 2B and proposes measures to manage or mitigate those impacts. The EIS has been prepared to meet both Commonwealth and ACT government environmental approval processes.
During the public exhibition stakeholders and the community are invited to review the draft EIS and provide their comments. Submissions on the draft EIS will be accepted until 5 September 2025.
Where to view the draft EIS
In person: Printed copies of the draft EIS are located at the Civic, Dickson, Gungahlin, Tuggeranong and Woden libraries.
Online: View the full draft EIS online and use the interactive map to explore the EIS findings. Video resources, a project summary and EIS guide are also available online.
