Weston Creek Community Council (WCCC) welcomes the Inquiry into Dangerous Driving in the ACT and regards the issue of dangerous driving on our roads as an important, unresolved issue that the Government has not appeared to have addressed in a systematic, evidence-based manner. We are of the view that it is a fundamental human right that all reasonable efforts are taken by authorities and the community to mitigate the risk of injury or fatality.
Council invites the Weston Creek community to the 26 OCTOBER 2022 public meeting with special guest Tom McLuckie. All are welcome to come along to hear points from submissions made to the Legislative Assembly Inquiry into Dangerous Driving, and to participate in a discussion on what you think should be done.
The meeting will be webcast live via our Facebook pages. Questions that we receive will be presented to the speakers. Please let us know your question in advance by email or the Facebook pages.
