WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE INCLUDED IN THE ACT BUDGET FOR WESTON CREEK?
The Budget consultation process provides an important opportunity for the Weston Creek community to be involved in the budget priorities. By providing our community comments, we can help to ensure that resources are put to best use in Weston Creek.
While developing their new Budget 2022-2023 ACT Budget, the Government intends to focus on building the economic, social and community recovery and to support the well-being of Canberrans now and into the future.
Core responsibilities of the ACT Government include hospitals and health care; local schools and education; public transport, roads, and active travel; community services; suburban services and economic development.
Weston Creek Community Council will again be making a submission to ACT Government outlining the priorities we have heard from you that need addressing in Weston Creek. We have heard concerns about air quality, public transport and cycle paths, dangerous driving, community safety and policing, maintenance of the area, and the Cooleman Court shopping area.
If you would like to add any priorities for the WCCC submission, please let us know through our public meeting on Wednesday 25 May, WCCC website, Facebook pages or email email@example.com by COB Thursday 26 May.
Alternatively, through to May 27, 2022, you can personally provide your thoughts and ideas for the 2022-23 ACT Budget through the following options:
- complete an online survey via the website YourSay
- sending a submission to firstname.lastname@example.org
