Living on the Edge – Help Shape Bushfire Management in the ACT

The ACT Emergency Services Agency (ACT ESA) asks the community to work with them on the review of the Strategic Bushfire Management Plan Version Two (SBMP v2). The SBMP is a government plan that clearly outlines how bushfire risk will be managed across the Territory.  A community consultation period will occur over March and April 2014. Two Consultations will be held in the Weston Creek area and nearby.   Tuesday 1 April at the ACT Rural Fire Service, Rivers Volunteer Shed, 903 Cotter Road, WESTON CREEK at 6.30 pm for about 2 hours, and Thursday 10 April at the Burns Club, Kambah again at 6.30 pm for about 2 hours.  If you wish to attend you can Register by phone 62074541, E-mail SBMPhaveyoursay@act.gov.au or via www.esa.act.gov.au
