St Athanasius Jacobite Syrian Orthodox community of Canberra will be attending the next Public Meeting of Weston Creek Community Council to show their proposals for the development of their new church building and to hear the Community members’ views before a completed development application is submitted. The meeting will be held at Weston Creek Community Centre, off Parkinson Street, Weston on Wednesday 30th August 2023 between 7.30pm and 9.00pm. Members of the church community will be available at the meeting to discuss the proposals and answer questions you may have. The church representatives will also remain for a short while after the meeting for one-on-one conversations. The meeting will be webcast via Weston Creek Community Council’s Facebook page and be available for viewing later.
