The ACT Government committed $33m as part of the 2016-2017 budget for a new 50m pool at Stromlo Forest Park.
The government will soon invite tenders for the design and construction of the Stromlo Pool.
Design will allow for future expansion so the facility can grow over time as part of a unique sporting destination, Stromlo Forest Park.
