Rotary Club of Weston Creek would like to deliver a park at Cooleman Court, near the playground on the Eastern Fringe of the complex.
Rotary would like to co=ordinate stakeholders and begin consultation on this project as soon as possible. The project we well received by meeting attendees and they provided feedback on possible inclusions such as:
- Ping pong tables
- Tables and seating for groups of up to 12 people
- Variety of shade
- Fencing
- Seniors ‘playground’ equipment like exercise machines
- Request for 2 BBQ’s.
Overall, a very well received idea.
Weston Creek Community Council will look to form a stakeholder consultation group to assist with planning. Request for assistance from Minister Steel to provide a planning delegate that we can liaise with regarding use of the space.
