What it’s about: The Weston Creek Community Council are hosting a public meeting on the latest proposals for development of public housing on Section 29 Wright.
The Public Housing Renewal Taskforce will present the revised plans that show how the whole block will be developed. These plans include a block of flats, a commercial site to be released for a doctor’s surgery or a child care centre with associated car parking, and a community hall with a small playground.
The meeting will begin with a presentation from the Taskforce and the opportunity to ask questions about the specific plans for the site. They will then leave the meeting.
The second half of the meeting will be an open forum where residents can express their views on the development and what actions they think should be taken once a Development Application is lodged.
