Next Meeting of WCCC 30 June 2010
Scams, Fraud, and Your Rights as Consumers.

The next meeting of the Weston Creek Community Council is on Wednesday 30 June 2010, commencing at 7:30pm at the Weston Club. The guest speaker is Gareth Williams from the Office of Regulatory Services speaking on Scams, Fraud, and Your Rights as Consumers.

The following meeting for Wednesday 28July 2010 is scheduled with two guest speakers:

• Presentation by Simon Corbell, ACT Minister for Environment, Water and Climate Change, on the government’s plans for new water storage for ovals and playing fields in Weston Creek
• Presentation by Kathleen Pooley, Senior Project Manager at Land and Property Services, will give an overview of the indicative land releases for the Weston Creek precinct for the next four years
