Are you unable to get to a polling place on election day for the ACT Legislative Assembly election?

electionbannerThe ACT Legislative Assembly election will be held on 15 October 2016.  If you are an Australian citizen, 18 years old or more, and living in the ACT, it is compulsory to enrol and vote in this election.  If you won’t be able to go to a polling place on polling day, 15 October, there are other ways you can vote.

You can vote early at a pre-poll voting centre.  Pre-poll voting centres are located in Belconnen, Canberra City, Gungahlin, Tuggeranong and Woden (Phillip).  They are open:

·       Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm,
·       Saturday 8 October from 9am to 5pm, and
·       Friday 14 October from 9am to 8pm.
