There is no other open space in the western end of Chapman or Rivett. Why can’t it be developed into a park which could be enjoyed by the existing residents. There are no shops or amenities within walking distance and it is a bushfire prone area.

This Development Application is open for comment and you can make your opinions known to the Government through this process.

This outcome is the result of a series of consultations between the Public Housing Task Force and both Council and a group of interested residents. The footprint of the proposed development has been reduced by some 300 sq metres to leave this as Community Facilities Zoned land.
