We will be having an update from the Asbestos Response Taskforce on the progress of the demolition phase of the program and on the public sales process and activity that may be occurring in the Weston Creek area for the remainder of this year.
There will also be a presentation on a proposal for a playground to be built at Waragamba shops. Council is supporting this group of residents in their endeavours to have this approved.
We will also update people on a number of matters that are underway in the community including the Service Station on the Cotter Road, the Dog Park and the Trenerry Court/Brierly Street upgrade.
Public Housing is still front and centre of our activity and we are meeting the Head of the Public Housing Renewal Task Force and waiting on a request to meet with the Minister on this same matter. See the website for the latest update.
