The next AGM of the Fetherston Gardens Friends group will be held at the Raiders Club Weston from 7pm on Thursday 10 September 2015. Anyone interested in the Fetherston Gardens is encouraged to attend. The AGM was attended by 12 people. Reports were presented by the convener, Trevor Wilson and by the Working Bee Coordinator, Lesley Pattinson. The community picnic, which had been tentatively planned as an inaugural community event in the Fetherston Gardens on Sunday 4 May 2014, has had to be postponed because of the watering system upgrade now under way in the gardens. It will be rescheduled as a spring event, the timing of which has yet to be decided. Continue reading
The ACT Government has contracted Pyramid Corporation to carry out the second stage of the Fetherston Gardens watering system upgrade which will see an automated watering control system installed throughout the gardens.
