The ACT Planning and Land Authority has refused the village Building Company’s Development Application for Block 1 Section 82, the “Old AFP Site” in Weston. Another Disappointment in Coombs

Here is yet another disappointment for those people living in Coombs.  The ACT Government made a requirement that there be space for a Community Hall in the site sold for a Child Care Centre in Coombs.  However, Council understands that no-one can use it as the area has been offerred for lease at a price which virtually puts all Community Groups out of the market. Council offers the following comments in relation to the Supportive Housing proposal in Chapman.
